Study Overview

OK2StandUP conducted product evaluations in five nursing homes with 44 high fall-risk residents to assess feasibility and explore the system’s role in supporting caregivers with early alerts of movement consistent with sitting up.

• Duration: 4,500 hours of remote monitoring
• Participants: 44 older adults at high fall risk

Smart Alerts, Smart Care

Across pilot evaluations, no falls were reported while the system was in use. These exploratory findings highlight the feasibility of early alerts. Our real-time notifications support healthcare organizations in implementing patient safety protocols.
